Lunch: LOTS and lots of calories. Marie Callendar's famous chicken pot pie and delicious corn-bread!
Food: 1/3 chicken pot pie (442 kcal) and 1/2 serving cornbread (638 kcal)
Calories: 1080 kcal
I'm so serious about the calories.
Look at the nutritional facts! O__O 1370 calories for an entire pot pie! And 1275 calories for a "serving" of cornbread! Not even a full tin! I was wondering why I was getting so full just eating the corn bread.
Big reminder. Always read/check your labels. O_O ALWAYS!
Then it was off to school and workout times!!!
By the time I arrived home... I was still full! O__O

Day 30: Meals quickly
Breakfast: oatmeal and berries
Food: 1/2 cup oatmeal (150 kcal) + 1/4 cup frozen berries (17 kcal) + 1 tsp honey (20 kcal)
Calories: 187 kcal
Lunch: Leftover noodles
Food: 1/2 cup pancit (100 kcal)
Calories so far: 287 kcal
Right after lunch, picking up my friend Steph to drive her to LAX! Ate some snacks while driving home XD
Snacktime: Sake Onigiri!!! *happy* My favorite onigiri is sake... followed by kombu!
Food: 1 salmon onigiri (191 kcal) plus 2 umaibo (50 kcal?)

Dinnertime came at night! Yay for Filipino food! Ate some delicious foods at Salo-Salo! One of my favorite restaurants! The portions are huge... and totally affordable! Yay! A lot of food for 3 of us... but yum! It's been a while since I've had Filipino food...

Oops, I totally stayed in bed waaay too long!
Woke up this morning and then stayed in bed until I fell asleep again... then woke up and it was 1:00p!!! \(°ะด°;)/
Lunch: Leftovers from yesterday's Lu's Garden
Food: Eggplant (30 kcal), vegetables (10 kcal), and tofu skin (60 kcal)
Calories: 100 kcal
Dinner: Fried chicken, pancit, and asparagus!
Food: 3/4 cup noodles (150 kcal), 1 piece fried chicken (71 kcal), asparagus (20 kcal)

I don't know? I wasn't very hungry today? I think because I ate so much carbs yesterday! Tomorrow I'm sure I will be hungry.

Day 28: Eating out and eating in!
I had a strange dream last night/this morning. Strange strange! Don't remember... but I woke up and yay! Call for breakfast! Ate delicious breakfast food and lunch food! Quite the Taiwanese foodie day!
Breakfast: Early wake-up call and ate my first meal at Yi Mei Deli Co!
Fresh soy milk is the best! I added only a little sugar to this.
I love gritty fresh fresh soy milk. Store bought stuff is totally different...
Food: Soy milk (~150 kcal), fried bread stuffs (150 kcal), and my favorite turnip cake with egg on top and garlic sauce (50 kcal?)
Calories: No idea. Guestimate time!
Calories... maybe: 350 kcal?
Here is my favorite turnip cake! Apparently I can make this on my own at home by buying pre-made turnip cake... then frying it on my own. Just gotta get it and some garlic sauce!

Day 26: Food times and eating out
I was so tired today!
I woke up later than I had planned (hit the alarm and went back to bed for another 1.5 hours...) then woke up and went to church. Oops. No breakfast for me.
Onwards to my aunt wanting fried chicken from KFC! Not my favorite... (chicken that is)... but yum for biscuits, corn on the cob and their apple pie stuffs.
Oops! Forgot to take a picture of the food itself!
Lunch: Kentucky Fried Chicken! We do chicken right!
Food: 1 fried chicken wing (190 kcal), 1 fried chicken thigh (150 kcal), 1/2 serving mashed potatoes & gravy (60 kcal), 1 apple turnover (260 kcal)
Calories: ~ 560 kcal...
Yikes on that apple turnover! More calories in that than the chicken! Also... I think My chicken wing was small... not a "full" chicken wing. I didn't eat the white meat part (blech... white meat), so calories are probably a little smaller than that.
I rested about 2 hours after eating... then Insanity time!!! Roar!
Also... laundry time!
Cleaning time!
Clobbering time!
Maybe not clobbering time. But! Friends came over and we played at the local brand new arcade (also bowling, pool, ping pong, and karaoke) Round 1! Seriously check it out. It's awesome!!! Played 2 hours non-stop. Yay for hourly infinite game cards. Although there is a 1-minute wait before you can add another credit. But we became smart later. XD
I bet whoever played that pirate game after us was really happy... left about 6 credits on there!
Onto dinner time at the highest rated Chinese restaurant in Rowland Heights... No. 1 Noodle House!
Dinner: Dan dan mein. YUM!
Food: Dan dan mein (~300 kcal), 4 wontons with hot spicy oil (~200 kcal)
Calories so far: ~1060 kcal
This is my favorite! This place makes it the best out of other places I've tried it at. Yum yum yum!
This picture is of the wontons in hot spicy oil. These are good too. If you don't want it spicy... then don't eat that spoonful of spiciness on the top.
If you do... hot! These are delicious also!

Day 25: Food times
Today was such a long day!
Eating was very... sporadic.
Breakfast: O' my buns (last ones today!) and Starbucks!
Food: 1 mini coffee bun w/ almonds (100 kcal) and 1 tall Chai Latte with soy milk (186 kcal)
Calories: ~286 kcal
I was so tired this morning... that when I arrived at my work area in Victorville (so far!), I had to get something warm to wake me up!
I don't like coffee... but tea is perfect! And lucky Starbucks has soy milk! *happy*
Lunch: Korean food! Noo-Roong-Ji (soup), sushi, and ice cream!
Food: 1 1/2 cup noo-roong-ji (~50 kcal), 1/2 dragon roll (260 kcal), and 1/2 scoop green tea ice cream (70 kcal)
Calories: 764 kcal
Isn't the dragon roll pretty??? I thought it was so pretty! The picture of the caterpillar roll in the menu looked so cute! I wish I took a photo of it.

This pie was totally worth it. I have never had a piece of pecan pie this heavenly. My bro and I were laughing and smiling because it was so delicious.

Day 22: Food times
Today was a food day! I was out out of the house, so lots of random foods. Also, there will be some estimations! So hard to count calories with some foods...
Breakfast: O' my buns!!!
Food: 1 mini coffee bun (100? kcal), 1 serving mixed nuts (100 kcal)
Calories: 200 kcal
I have no idea how many calories this has. When I bought them last night, I asked the guy how many calories, he said he had no idea and he'd have to ask. Oh well.
Late lunch! The mixed nuts earlier were actually a snack during work in between testing subjects for my thesis.
Lunch was at Class 302 today with friends! I was the only one ordered lunch... so I got a bento meal while everyone partook in the unique Taiwanese-style shaved snow. I had a few bites later.
Food: 1/2 pork chop over rice with veggies (350 kcal?) I ate less than 1/2 the meal. 1/6 mango & mochi shaved snow (150? kcal)
Calories so far: 700? kcal
No idea on the shaved snow for calories. Different right? Sorry my picture is terrible, but it's actually mango-flavored "snow" and not just ice.
Have you all been to the LA County Fair at the Pomona Fairplex yet??? If not, then you should go! It's the last week, so last chance to enjoy it! I went today with friends to walk around and enjoy!
On the right is a coupon for the event. Wed-Friday, there is a $5 after 5p special. But! You have to have the coupon printed out. And you have to have one per person. Kind of sucks... but it's still cheaper than $12 or whatever the normal price is. It's from their website.
The first monstrosity eaten at the fair. I guess this was technically my dinner? I really wanted one last week... sorry diet! But I eat what I want, but I eat in moderation!
I don't eat a funnel cake a week, or even once a month. Last time I had it was... I don't remember! Considering all the food in a fair, I could have done worse *cough* deep fried butter... blech.
Snacks: Funnel cake w/ powdered sugar, corn on the cob, Hot Dog on a Stick lemonade
Food: 3/4 funnel cake w/ powdered sugar (570? kcal), 2/3 corn on the cob (113 kcal), 10 oz Hot Dog on a Stick lemonade (115 kcal)

Day 21: Rest, being female, and food!
Yay for today being a rest day!
Although... I really wanted to work out today! And of course I know better and need to rest... I really wanted to work out! My bro was smart and lectured me the other day saying I don't rest enough... so I didn't workout.
Good job me!... so far.

As soon as I began yesterday's Plyometric workout, my boobs hurt! That's when I realized... "it's female time!" waaaaah. Female time = sensitive boobs. But that makes me feel a little better about looking so bloated lately. I noticed I also was retaining water since my knees swelled up pretty bad.
So today, I was craving random foods!

As soon as I began yesterday's Plyometric workout, my boobs hurt! That's when I realized... "it's female time!" waaaaah. Female time = sensitive boobs. But that makes me feel a little better about looking so bloated lately. I noticed I also was retaining water since my knees swelled up pretty bad.
So today, I was craving random foods!
Breakfast: Cereal x almond milk
Food: 1 cup Wild Harvest Natural Maple Pecan cereal (240 kcal), 1/2 cup Blue Diamond Vanilla Almond Breeze Milk (~40 kcal)

I went to the mall to wander around and get inspiration... and I really wanted a hot dog on a stick!

Day 18: Meals 1 + 2 + snack + 3... and bike riding!
Long day! Tired thighs! Almost immediately after Insanity and showering, got picked up to go to Huntington Beach for a birthday party!
On the way there, we stopped by Target to get a gift card and luckily there was a Starbucks... so I was able to get breakfast!
Breakfast: Perfect Oatmeal with dried fruit, assorted nuts... and they ran out of brown sugar... so sorry, no brown sugar, but luckily still delicious!
Food: 1 cup oatmeal (140 kcal), 1 serving nuts (100 kcal), 1 serving dried fruit (100 kcal)
Calories: 340 kcal
The dried fruit was enough sweetness for this perfect oatmeal! Only $2.45 + tax also! Yay!
When we arrived, the birthday party consisted of us riding a bike about 4.65 miles to our destination. This sucks if you're tired after doing Cardio Recovery and Cardio Abs + working out the night before... but! It wasn't so bad.

Total distance: ~9.30 miles
Total time riding: ~ 55 minutes (30 there, ~25 back)
Total calories burned: ~195 kcal
Yay for extra calories burned!!! Makes me feel not so guilty about eating so much. But still a little guilty ^^;

Lucky I shared my meal with someone. I seriously don't know how people can eat an entire hamburger. That used to be me... but can't do it anymore without coma-ing.
Afterwards, we went to a cool presentation about clean bio-fuel at Sustainable Now Technologies (SNT). Can't tell you their secrets, but it was really cool! Plus they fed us organic and vegan snacks!!! I would have taken photos, but I left my phone in the car f(>_<) oops.
Snack: Kale chips, macadamia nut vegan cookies, mini pistachio vegan cupcake, sushi (california roll and asparagus tempura roll), finger veggies (snap peas, broccoli)
Food: Kale chips (5 kcal), 2 mini cookies (~100 kcal), 1/2 mini cupcake (~35 kcal), 1 california roll (37 kcal), 2 asparagus tempura roll (76 kcal), finger veggies (20 kcal)
Calories so far: 1028 kcal
Onward to home and falling asleep... long day = almost falling asleep in the car. Actually, I probably did. I even took a 30 min nap when I got home. When I woke up, I had 1/2 a can of this!
Dinner: Campbell's Select Harvest Savory Chicken and Brown Rice Soup
Food: 1 serving (1/2 can) soup (140 kcal)

After eating this, I wanted something sweet... so here comes sweetness!
After dinner drink/snack: Safeway Select European Cafe Style Hot Cocoa

Nice way to end off the night! I was thinking about tea... but I saw this and it won! It's been a long time since I've drank it! Cold night = perfect to drink something warm ^^

Day 17: Meals 1 & 2 --> Lunch & Dinner
Oh noes! Today was a bad eating day. It's okay though... once in a while right? Although that once in a while is happening more frequently than usual! (oT_To)
I only ate 2 meals... as opposed to my usual preferred 4 meals per day.
But I had lunch with friends... took a nap (oops), then hate a late dinner with my aunt (who's visiting from Italy)! You know when you have family/friends visiting... especially my frail aunt... I really don't mind changing my schedule for her at all! She's only here for a few weeks... so whatever she wants, she gets!
*** edit *** Strange... been trying to upload a photo, but it's not working. Just keeps freezing my browser. I tried with Google Chrome and with Firefox. Oh wells? Will edit later. ***
Breakfast: Yum time with Steph and Loy at Buca de Beppo
Food: 2/3 bruschetta (~500 kcal?), 1/6 linguini fruitti de mare (~160 kcal), 2/3 bread (180 kcal?), 1/8 colossal brownie sundae (300 kcal?)
Calories: 1140 kcal?
I have no idea on the calorie count for this one. No thanks to Buca not providing all of their menu items with nutritional facts. So I have to guestimate a lot. I always try to over-estimate also.
I seriously coma-ed after this. I don't know why I ate so much of the bruschetta. I really wanted it... but when I ate it, it didn't taste very good. *sadness* Way too salty and not enough flavor. So I fell asleep while I was at home. Oops.
I did end up waking up, feeling remorseful and taking a long walk then Insanity! I'll talk about it later.
Dinner: A late dinner at Denny's with my aunt!
Food: 1 pancake (170 kcal), 2 sausages (282 kcal), 2 egg yolks (180 kcal), 2 cups orange juice (220 kcal), 1 slice garlic bread (85 kcal)
Calories for this meal only: 937 kcal
OMG I totally went overboard for today. But I also felt extremely hungry. My aunt is on Italy time... so she wasn't hungry earlier... so we went for dinner at 9:30p. Most places were closed or had an extremely long wait. So... back to Denny's! Yay for 24 hours... but >_< for going high calorie counts! Food is so much better when you cook it yourself!
Luckily I worked out extra hard for today.

Day 16: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner + Snack!
Today was a busy day! My Aunt flew in today from Italy to stay with us for 3 weeks! Plus, I had to wait around for telephone calls. Then I went to the LA Fair! and while I was at the fair... I saw Boyz II Men and En Vogue! If you don't know them... you better start googling!
Breakfast: Recycled photo from yesterday! I'm a boring breakfast person sometimes...
Food: 1 cup Wild Harvest Natural Maple Pecan cereal (240 kcal), 1/2 cup Blue Diamond Vanilla Almond Breeze Milk (~40 kcal)

Lunch times!: Veggie omelet at Denny's!
Food: 1/2 omelet w/ spinach, avocado, mushrooms, onions, & bell peppers (170? kcal); 1 slice wheat toast w/margarine & no crust (120 kcal); 1/4 hash browns (50 kcal), 2 cups orange juice (220 kcal)
Calories so far: 740 kcal
I think I went over-calories with the omelet. I think? No cheese and no meat... so calories were pretty low!
Uh oh! time for the fair!!!
That means time to eat excessive calories... but wait!
Saved a little bit by an awesome concert with Boyz II Men and En Vogue!!! Serious awesomeness here.
Before we knew about the concert... we bought this monstrosity!

Food: Nachos with carne asada, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa (~400 kcal).

I stayed away from the carne asada, but I couldn't stay away from the guacamole or sour cream! *fail*
Snacky time: Sweet Watermelon licorice with cream inside. I was curious okay? also 1/2 churro! >_< derp.

Oops! Late update! Sorry no photos of body today... my camera was out of battery, so I had to charge it! All of my macbook and phone photos came out terrible, so body photos will be a day later.

Food: 1 spicy seafood soon tofu (200 kcal?), random banchan ~ kimchi, bean sprouts, fish, fish cake (~50 kcal), 1/3 cup rice (70 kcal)

Sad that there's no egg due to the salmonella scare... T_T next time!
