End of Week 3 cycle!!!
One more week of Month 1 madness! Woo woo! Can't believe I've been doing this for three weeks already. It's crazy. I can tell the workouts are getting easier; in comparison to when I first started.
I did my workout at night [which I don't like... and was so tired today (hot and worn out)] so I started out a bit slow. Something on Dancing with the Stars helped me push. Rick Fox said "Larry Bird gave the advice "Pros play hurt."
It's true! I've been such a bum lately that I forgot about pushing. I do believe in adequate rest, but you do have to push to get beyond a plateau.
Today I had the same troubles with the same exercises: Level 1 drills and plank oblique side-to-side jumps. Arms pretty tired today! Yesterday they were actually shaking when I attempted to do a pull-up. Which gave me the line in the sand that said Insanity does not work out your back.
I remember I was thinking "I'm working out my legs, thighs, core, and chest a lot."
This really doesn't help me for pole dancing (pole fitness). LOL. I guess I really need to start doing some lat pulldowns. I need to start training again for that. It's a little difficult when my chest, core, biceps are always so fatigued... but my back is so weak... that it's tough to do some tricks.
Ahhh... me in my glory days.

Day 20: "Meals"... again T_T
Oops. Long day and HOT!
Today was a record Los Angeles high temperature! 113 degrees Fahrenheit max! Where I live, it was 109 degrees. Serious?
I had to take care of school stuff in the morning, then shopping with my aunt! We ended up eating at the Olive Garden. Kind of funny cause my aunt lives in Italy... and we go to an American-chain Italian restaurant.
Maybe I overate yesterday... maybe. Probably snacked a bit too much.
Lunch: Soup & breadstick and 1/4th seafood portofino
Food: 1 zuppa toscana soup (170 kcal), 1 breadstick (150 kcal), 1/4 seafood portofino pasta (200 kcal)
Calories: 520 kcal
If you're lactose intolerant, you know it kind of sucks to go to an Italian restaurant. The waitress said this was a dish without cheese... (and not spaghetti & meatballs... or boring).
My stomach did hurt a little after. I'm wondering if there was some cheese in here. It didn't say on the menu... but not sure. Maybe it was the bread I ate.
Lactose intolerance sucks. Especially if you've grown up eating cheese and dairy!
I guess that's enough whining. I was hoping to eat the rest of this for dinner... but as soon as I arrived home... bro ate it all! Everything!
Luckily snacks and goodies from Italy! My aunt and uncle gave me special chocolates, blueberry and orange jellies, a cross necklace, Italian postcard, and a DVD about Rome! *excited*
My aunt and uncle are the best! They said it's to entice my brother and me to visit them in Italy. They would even pay for our airfare! *blessed*
I ate a 1/2 a piece of chocolate... maybe 55 kcal of chocolate?
Watching Dancing with the Stars now... after it's over... time for Insanity!!! Put it off because I was so tired today! (Probably from partying too much yesterday).

Day 19: Meals meals meals!
A day late in blogging, but here are all "meals" for today!
I really only ate one meal today. But it's okay because it was for a friend's birthday!
I started out my Sunday early and started the gymming, tanning, and laundry! LOL. Actually I did start off with Insanity at about 8:30a! Then showered, and off to church! Right after church it was family stuff, then off to carpooling to the birthday party at 12:45p!
Lots of traffic to Torrance... and I still hadn't eaten yet! We arrived almost 2p T__T Awake for almost 6 hours with no food! *death*
First thing I did was look for food and snack on jalapeƱo chips and guacamole!
So hungry! Then I ate this monstrosity! I didn't finish all the bread. Maybe 1/2 a bun left.
Lunch: Double hamburger
Food: Double burger with tomato, onions, lettuce, and guacamole (~550 kcal)
Calories: ~550 kcal
The burger was so big that it didn't fit in my mouth.
HAHA.
That's what she said.
I had to eat it in pieces.

The cake was from Albertsons and it wasn't too sweet surprisingly! I had a sliver of this and it was good! Maybe 200 kcal? Chocolate with strawberries inside!

I did snack a bunch during the day! Mostly in the beginning with the chips, guacamole, then kettle corn... and oh! I had about 2 Smirnoff Ices (1 mango and 1 pineapple).
Maybe my calorie count for today was around 1200~1300 kcal?
